The CHS Marching Band competed at the Topsail Pirate Classic October 21, 2024 in Class AAAA and received the following awards:

1st Place Color Guard
3rd Place Percussion
2nd Place Visual
1st Place General Effect
2nd Place Music
2nd Place Band - only .08 behind 1st Place
