About
The Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica is an honor society for high school students enrolled in Spanish and is sponsored by the American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese. The purpose of the society is to recognize high achievement of high school students in the Spanish language and to promote a continuing interest in Hispanic studies. Chapter sponsor is Ms. Angela Rivas.
Dues
All members:
$10.00-SHS Annual Membership Fee
New members:
$5.00-certificate and $11.00- t-shirt fee\
Seniors:
$10.00-cord (Spanish III-HN, SNS-2-HN, SPAN 111 & 112)***
$20.00-Stole ***only for seniors who have taken and passed Spanish IV HN and are part of SHS..
2017-2018 Schedule & Important Dates:
September 11→ Opening meeting
October 9
November 13 > Deadline for membership dues and t-shirt money

February 12
March 12→ Deadline for cord and stole money. All community hours must be submitted by this date.
April 9→ New officer elections
April 27→ Induction practice at CHS auditorium. (Mandatory attendance)
May 2→ SHH Induction Ceremony at 6:00 P.M. (Members must line-up at 5:30)
